rock4rights is an all-ages music festival held each year on the gold coast.

the rock4rights festival features some of australia's hottest bands, handpicked and coming together because they give a damn about human rights too, spending the day rocking out in support of human rights and making this world a safer, more humane place to live.

the festival features the best of both worlds...a brilliant indoor venue for the best possible up-close gig experience as well as an outdoors break-out area for kicking back between acts and refuelling from a range of food and refreshment vendors.

as an indication and thanks to the strength of australian music and the generosity of some great acts, check out the huge schedule of acts we had for our first ever rock4rights festival in 06!

how about shifter to rock your world? transport to take you places you didn't think rock could take you? kate miller-heidke to transform your soul? the winnie coopers to party the geek right out of you? the black market rhythm co to shake your proverbial bootie? the presidents bush to warm up your moshiness? or grassroots street orchestra to get you in the groove?

what to know more? check out band bios in our rock4rights schedule page.

the rock4rights festival always provides heaps of opportunities for individual and schools to get involved.

as an individual you might want to volunteer to work on the event students committee beforehand, and help out on the day. you might have contacts with local businesses who would like to donate time or resources to help make the event a success.

there are also heaps of ways that you can get your school involved in the festival. you or your arts department teachers and students might want to be involved in doing artwork for promotions, staging, or festival t-shirts. you might want to hold an information stall at your school to promote the event and get other people involved in the rock4rights movement.

if you or your school want to help out in any way at all, hit us with the get involved form. we'd be rapt. no, really, we would.
